Trends shows a quiet view of the entries and mood answers you have recorded. Writing rhythm is reachable from Home and focuses on when you wrote.

What you can see

  • Writing counts, daily words, an entry tracker, and a writing rhythm view use completed entries.
  • Mood over time, mood comparison, weekly mood, and energy and sleep views need recorded mood answers.
  • Frequent words come from available entry text. These are word counts, not a judgment about your life.
The exact cards visible in Trends can depend on your personalization settings and whether the relevant data exists. A blank or sparse view can simply mean there is too little recorded history for that view.

Use Writing rhythm

1

Open it from Home

Tap the Writing rhythm control on Home.
2

Choose a period

Switch between the available ranges and move backward or forward to see days with writing, entry counts, and stretches.
3

Return gently

Use Write today when the view is empty, or choose a recorded day to return to Past. A gap is part of your history, not a failure.
Trends describes what has been recorded; it does not infer a diagnosis or promise an insight from a small number of entries.
For the source entries, open Past and Drafts. For mood data, see Mood check-ins. Trends is not a health assessment; see AI limitations and safety.
