A mood check-in is a short set of optional answers after writing. It gives Recollekt another kind of context while keeping your own journal words distinct.
1

Reach Mood Entry

In the journal editor, tap Next. The Mood Entry screen asks “How are you, really?”
2

Answer only what fits

You can record overall mood, feelings, energy, stress, sleep quality, and influences. Every answer is optional. Some lists let you choose up to three items or Not sure.
3

Continue or skip

Tap Next to continue with the answers you chose, or Skip to finish without them. Then tap Done on the recap screen.
Mood answers are self-reports, not measurements or diagnoses. They are separate from the freeform text you wrote. Missing or skipped answers do not make the journal entry incomplete.
Recorded answers can contribute to mood views in Trends and Writing Rhythm. They are not a clinical assessment; read AI limitations and safety for care boundaries. To finish the writing itself, see Write an entry.
