You can write on an iPhone before signing in. An account connects eligible writing to Recollekt cloud sync and account-backed history.

Open Profile

If you are in local mode, choose Sign in from Profile or the prompt shown after a first saved entry.

Choose a method

Enter an email and tap Send sign-in code, then enter the Email code and tap Verify code. You can also use Sign in with Apple.

Check the account

Return to Profile and confirm you are using the account you intended. Writing and history are scoped to that account.
If you use Apple’s Hide My Email address, it can be a different account from one reached with another email. Do not assume two sign-in methods share the same history unless they resolve to the same account.

Local saving and cloud sync

A completed entry can be Saved on this iPhone while the app is offline. Waiting to sync means a cloud operation remains pending. Keep the app open with a connection and check Past again. Account-backed AI history may lag until the latest entry reaches the server. For the visible labels, see Past and Drafts. If sync appears stuck, use Troubleshooting.
